If you are under 21, don’t become a chauffeur for your friends <\/strong>\u2013 Earlier this year, stricter GDL policies were put into action by New York City — changing the non-family passenger limit from two to one.\u00a0 As a teen driver, increasing the number of non-family passengers (i.e. other teens) is directly proportional to increasing the risks of accidents on the road.\u00a0 Distracted driving may also, depending on driving mistakes you make, add 3-5 points on your New York driving record.<\/p>\n
